Getting Started
This journal/journey is about tracing roots and revisiting past interests. Jeanne first went to Budapest and Romania in 1983 to study political economics. Though she knew Jane's family was from the region, it was synchronicity to meet Simon, Jane's dad at a restaurant in Budapest! Hope to add a picture soon.
Though we will start in eastern Europe, in Budapest and Oradea, Romania, we'll end up in Southern Italy, in Forio d'Ischia, on the island of Ischia and San Gregorio Magno in Salerno, near Naples.
